How to Actually Evaluate a Casino Bonus

1. Calculate the real value, not the headline number

A "200% up to $1,000" bonus with 60× wagering is worth less than a "100% up to $500" bonus with 20× wagering. Real value = (Bonus Amount) ÷ (Wagering × House Edge). Always do the math before claiming.

2. Check if your preferred game contributes 100%

Most casinos exclude or reduce wagering contribution from high-variance slots, live dealer games, and table games. Book of Dead might only contribute 10% — meaning the effective wagering is 10× higher than stated.

3. Rakeback beats bonuses for regular players

If you play more than $5,000/month, a 10–50% rakeback program will outperform any welcome bonus within 1–2 months. Bonuses are one-time. Rakeback compounds forever.

4. No deposit bonuses are for testing, not for winning

No deposit bonuses have maximum cashout limits ($50–$200) and high wagering requirements (30–60×). They are valuable for testing a casino's product risk-free — not for generating meaningful profit.
